Kobra and the Lotus just launched their new CD in Canada on March 9th during Canadian Music Week where they were also on the bill. We have strong Campus radio presence. In its first week of program rotation, Kobra and the Lotus’ debut album “Out of the Pit” entered Earshot Charts for Campus radio at #12 for top 30 and #1 for LOUD. In preparation for the launch of their debut album “Out of the Pit” Kobra and the Lotus toured across Canada performing 70 + gigs including opening for Stratovarius on part of their Canadian tour. They were invited and travelled to the UK to play in the Rock of Ages Fest 2010 held this past November in London, UK. They have successfully secured distribution with Sonic Unyon/Universal Music in Canada and have received proposals for distribution from Code 7 UK, Believe Germany, Rebeat Sweden and Pig Factory USA. The band has recently also secured a licensing deal for their music with MTV New York, one of the largest global programming circuits available today. The band has become known for its high energy high velocity live show that has an addictive nature to the sexy but massive punch of the soaring vocals and metal roots. The band just played at Canadian Music Week were they were listed as one of the top favorite bands of the week.
