1) ABRIOSIS-Vancouver
http://www.myspace.com/abriosisAbriosis is a four piece progressive metal band that tend to lean towards the death metal style mixed with poly rhythmic grooves. Abriosis formed in the winter of 2007 quickly carving out a unique sound mixing elements from extreme music genres. Currently they are writing a full length album set to record in Jan 2010 with a tentative release date of April 2010 and gearing up for their Canadian tour with Kataplexis and will be playing over 30 dates from B.C. to the Maritimes.
2) KATAPLEXIS-Calgary
http://www.myspace.com/kataplexisTremolo picking, double-bass galore, and the deepest growls and highest shrieks this side of the TransCanada highway are all available in healthy doses in Kataplexis’ music. Kataplexis play a unique blend of death metal and Grindcore, transcending genre boundaries.
3) BLOODPOOL-Thunder Bay
http://www.myspace.com/bloodpoolkillsallBloodpool is a Death Metal band from Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. It was started in 2004 and evolved into a full band about a year or so later. Loaded with tongue in cheek humour lyrically, our sound is fast, technical and crushing while still maintaining groove and keeping the main focus on writing!
