Kaeth of Purity Control is amazing...the performance at The Hunger was highly stimulating not only through his music, but the visual aspect as well, he knows how to give a show, this is the first time with live accompaniment and they really helped to solidified his sound, definitely liked it. Purity Control is playing BPP Nov.12 with Lefy Spine Down-The Rabid Hole-IGBC-Z3R05YNC, this will be a great show. Thanks again Kaeth, always impressive. Of course I was at the Kilroy' venue and only managed to see the bands there, but I did live vicariously through everyone who came by from other bars that night to tell me how good the other bands were in the other venues and apparently everyone was great! All the bands put on monstrously good performances and really had the crows in a frenzy-Forever Dead had a packed audience and they demanded an encore, like really deafeningly loud, like really...good thing we had time and they rocked hard one more time and that was a good start to Forever Deads tour out east...they are playing some of the best venues in Toronto too, check out their website. More stories to come...

This was a really good show. Thanks to everyone who came out to support all the local bands and also to the art gallery for putting on such awesome shows. I saw full-sets by the Alaska Army Band, Webster Death and some (bluegrass?) band from Winnipeg and all 3 acts were really good...pro-level, really.

I have 2 pictures of the wayback playing but i need to get them developed and i dont think i used the whole roll of film.
what is this 'developed' and this 'roll of film' that you speak of? are you from Europe or something fancy!? i was hoping for good ol' fashioned digital pictures!   In all the band pictures I took I seem to have avoided the left side of the stage, I think people were in the way. |
