Only a few months after the band's creation, LAUREL already had recorded and released a EP. Laurel bring straight up rock 'n' roll from the sticks of rural Quebec, releasing their own combination of passion, sweat and grease with a crazed live show that they have brought on tours with bands such as Every Time I Die, Stick To Your Guns, Means and more. For fans of Dead And Divine and Cancer Bats.

For this 3 piece, music was about expressing themselves, and doing so in their own way through their common love of music and their passion to follow their dreams, no matter the amount of hard work and sacrifice required. Since the bands first show in march of 2008, things have been going very well. Playing shows in just about every city in New-Brunswick, with a quickly growing fan base. SoLongSelene have played shows along the side of great bands such as: Today I Caught The Plague, Greeley Estates, Farewell To Freeway, Kingdoms, Endast, Man With Target, Laurel, A Sight For Sewn Eyes and Syracuse Me. SoLongSelene are growing at a fast pace and don’t plan on slowing down.
